Best growing conditions for irises

Posted by Ellie Brown | March 26, 2015

I divided and moved some irises about 3 years ago and I can't get them to bloom. They grow just fine, but no blossoms. On my undivided irises, I get a couple of blossoms. Do they need something? They are all in direct sun.

Four grapevines were planted in the wrong spot over 20 years ago between a storage shed and apple trees. It gets insufficient sun. I want to transplant these vines, but they are tangled together. May I lop them off about 3 feet tall? They are two different types of grape, one a blush and the other unknown. (They have never ...

Can fungicide cause liver damage?

Posted by Ruth McCormick | March 21, 2015

My roses bloom but leaves fall off and they are yellow with black spot. They are really coming back nicely and I want to make sure that I control black spot before it happens. I'm told that the sprays that are used, if you are not protected, can cause an enlarged liver. How can I fully protect myself when spraying ...
