Fertilizing impatiens

I have planted lots of impatiens and they are not blooming. Should I be fertilizing them?

Dead crabapple tree

Last year, I planted a small crabapple tree. This year it looks very dry and the pods on the branches look dry. I took a piece to a nursery and they said to wait until August for any kind of bloom to show. I personally think the tree is dead. What should I do?

Why is my garden not producing?

My garden is in north central Florida. We added compost and black cow to the soil this year, along with all-purpose fertilizer, lime, and ironrite. Still, my garden is not producing. In the Tacoma paper on Wednesday, June 18th, you gave the instructions of 1/3 ammonia and 1/3 water put into a spray bottle for slug-killing spray. Is there another 1/3 of something, or is it a 50/50 solution?
