We have three parks (one with turf and big toy, one natural, and one mini-park), 3 trails and opportunities for more, and roughly 60 acres ...

using Osmocote when starting seeds

Posted by Bob Berg | May 9, 2018

I make my own seed starting mix - peat moss, vermiculite and perlite. I notice that some germinating mixes in stores indicate that the mix contains a slow release fertilizer. Is one of the Osmocote products appropriate for including with a seed starting mix? If so, in what ratio? I generally mix 2-3 cubic feet at a time. Thanks

Hi Marianne I always agonize more than I probably should when thinning my apples. I can’t help it.
