Hebe 'Karo Golden Esk' I purchased two of these - ended up sitting in their pots longer than expected and one was water logged - in the ground now (added transplant fertilizer) but bottom growth had turned very dark....looks like its dying. This year for the first time I grew Heavenly Blue morning glories all along the fence in my side yard, and they're beautiful. The seed packet says that they're annuals. Any chance that they'll overwinter? Do I cut down the vines when/if they fade? Any chance they'll reseed? Any advice you may have is welcome. Thanks, Chris

Thanks for the advice on storing dahlias for replanting. Paper bags sound good to me, but a neighbor swears that keeping them in a dry box of potting soil also works. It seems like a lot of bother and a potential mess to me. Does he know what he's talking about? I can't wait to tell him "no".

I just planted kewensis wintercreeper on a hill to stop erosion where mulch always washes into the driveway. Should I mulch around the groundcover until it fills in or will mulch be harmful? Thankyou
